The bilingual advantage: performing the non-word repetition test

چکیده
The study investigated the accuracy of non-word production by bilingual and monolingual children. participants (125 children in total) belonged to two groups with different language repertoires one group Lithuanians. analysis revealed that overall performance both was better than group. demonstrated more accurate statistically significant results repeating longer structurally complex non-words. findings this suggest bilinguals being acquainted phonological systems had a greater experience diverse phonology, which ensured precise task.
